Site Access & Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to all work areas. If conditions are deemed unsafe upon arrival (water intrusion, structural hazards, active gas leaks, etc.), Eagle Harbor Electric reserves the right to postpone work until conditions are resolved.
Permits & Code Compliance
All work is performed to current NEC and Washington State electrical code. Eagle Harbor Electric will pull required permits; permit fees are billed to the client at cost. We do not perform work intended to bypass or circumvent code requirements.
Power Shutoffs
Electrical work often requires temporary power shutoffs. We’ll coordinate these with you in advance and minimize disruption where possible.
Children & Pets
For everyone’s safety, we ask that children and pets be kept clear of active work areas during the job.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. This allows us to offer that time to other clients who need service.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a scheduling fee or a requirement to prepay before future appointments are confirmed.
Emergency service calls are accommodated as quickly as possible and are subject to availability. Submitting a request does not guarantee same-day response.
The original written quote covers only the work described within it. If additional work is identified or requested during the job, we will pause and communicate the change before proceeding.
All scope changes require written approval from the client — via email, text, or signed change order — before additional work begins. Verbal approvals are not binding.
Price adjustments resulting from scope changes will be documented and added to the final invoice.
Electrical work sometimes uncovers conditions that existed before our arrival — outdated wiring, prior code violations, hidden water damage, or deteriorated components. Eagle Harbor Electric is not responsible for these pre-existing conditions.
When such conditions are discovered, we will notify you promptly, explain the findings, and provide options before proceeding. Addressing pre-existing issues may affect the project timeline and cost.
We will not knowingly leave a job site in a less safe condition than we found it. If a pre-existing hazard prevents safe completion of the original scope, we will discuss next steps with you before continuing.
Eagle Harbor Electric’s total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for those specific services.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including but not limited to loss of income, loss of use, loss of data, or property damage beyond the immediate work area — arising from any work performed or any delay in completing such work.
This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if Eagle Harbor Electric has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We stand behind our work. If you have a concern about a completed job, please contact us directly — most issues can be resolved quickly and fairly through open communication.
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing legal action.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any unresolved disputes shall be handled in Kitsap County, Washington.

Estimates & Quotes
Written quotes are valid for 30 days. Any work beyond the quoted scope will be discussed and approved by the client before proceeding. Verbal estimates are approximations only.
Warranty
Eagle Harbor Electric warranties our labor for 1 year from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials and equipment. Warranty is void if work is altered by another party.
Materials & Substitutions
We source quality materials appropriate for the job. If a specified product is unavailable, we’ll notify you and propose an equivalent before substituting.
Photos
We may photograph completed work for our records and marketing use. If you prefer we don’t, just let us know.
Right to Refuse Service
Eagle Harbor Electric reserves the right to decline or discontinue work in situations involving unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, or scope that falls outside our licensing.
Reach out and we’ll be happy to clarify anything before you book.
